General Terms and Conditions

GENERAL

 

These Terms and Conditions apply to the booking of workshops / courses / classes / lessons with either www.vocalprogress.com or www.technicalvocalcoach.com.

We reserve the right to change or modify the current Terms and Conditions with no prior notice.

 

In these Terms and Conditions, the words “I”, “me”, "we", “the instructor”, “our”, “ours” or "us" are references to www.vocalprogress.com and www.technicalvocalcoach.com and use of the words "you", “your”, “yours”, “clients”, “customers”, "participants", “attendees”, “workshop participants”, “course participants” and “students” are references to the person who attends workshops or courses organized and arranged by either www.vocalprogress.com or www.technicalvocalcoach.com.

 

The words “classes” / “workshops” / “seminars” / “courses” / “lessons” / “lectures” / “practice groups” / “training” / “one-to-one lessons” are references to the events and activities that organized and arranged by www.vocalprogress.com or www.technicalvocalcoach.com.

 

 

PARTICIPATION / REGISTRATION / CONFIRMATION OF APPLICATION

 

Registrations can only be made by email or online via our websites. Email address: info@vocalprogress.com. Websites: www.vocalprogress.com (English speaking participants and German speaking participants) or www.technicalvocalcoach.com (Chinese speaking participants). All current registration deadlines are shown on the website.

 

Once you have registered you will receive a notification by email that your enrolment is confirmed. You might go on to the payment via bank transfer as described in the email. Please be sure to enter a valid contact address, contact number and email address so that we can get in touch with you.

 

The registration shall only be regarded as complete after payment has been received. After the course fee is paid you will receive written confirmation of the registration. If you do not receive an email 14 days prior to the course date, please contact us. Our email address is: info@vocalprogress.com.

 

Registrations are accepted on a first-comefirst served basis and subject to availability.

 

The following three workshops will run if there are minimum of 15 participants in each: '"The Estill Introductory Workshop", "Belting Workshop", "Estill Practice Groups" (8 participants). If the number of applicants of these three workshops exceed the number of 15, the instructor will create a waiting list and offer new groups / sessions / workshops when there are enough applicants

 

PAYMENT

 

Applying to a course does not mean that the registration is completed. Payments should be made in advance and must be made in full prior to course start in order to finalize registration. To ensure that the registration is completed and participation to a course granted, the actual and complete course fee must be paid by the payment deadline of the course. Applicants who have not made a full payment by the payment deadline of the course are not allowed to take part in the course or receive any course materials. www.vocalprogress.com and www.technicalvocalcoach.com reserve the right to cancel your registration.

 

For payments that are made by bank transfer, all bank transfer fees must be covered by the participant and may not be deducted from the amount remitted. Participants are also advised to have a copy of their payment slip.

 

Course fees are listed on the websites. Please refer to www.vocalprogress.com or www.technicalvocalcoach.com. However, prices / course fees are subject to change without notice.

All training materials, lecture and any other work documentation are protected by copyright.

 

All training materials are not for commercial use. They may not be modified, copied, reproduced, distributed, transmitted, displayed, performed, displayed, transferred, sold, published or broadcast without the prior permission of www.vocalprogress.com and www.technicalvocalcaoch.com or www.estillvoice.com (Estill Voice Training International).

 

Participants are NOT allowed to take photographs and to make audio and video recordings during the course. Any participant caught taping any lectures or material will be asked to delete the recorded material. Should a participant refuse to delete said material, presenters / teachers / lecturers / course instructors reserve the right to dismiss that participant.

 

SAFETY

 

Participants are responsible for the safety of their own belongings. We accept no responsibility for loss, damage or theft of a personal belongings.

 

Every participant should enjoy participating our courses. So, we expect you to act responsibly. If the instructors determine that you are behaving in a manner that is- or could be- disruptive to other course participants, or is in violation of these terms, then the instructors have the right to refuse to admit you to, or expel you from, the course. If this happens, you are not entitled to a refund of fees paid.

 

Participants in / during / after the courses are responsible for their own vocal health, progress and technique.

 

Unpredictable things can happen. We do not take any responsibility and we are not liable for any injury, death, damage, loss and delay during / in / after the course. No refunds will be given due to unforeseen circumstances.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

 

We are entitled to cancel any courses for good cause (e.g. insufficient participants, last-minute unavailability of a presenter or any substitute or some other unavoidable circumstances). If this happens, you will be informed as soon as possible and you are entitled to a full refund of the course fee; any other claims against us are excluded.

 

We are entitled to make other changes to courses (e.g. agenda, timetable, venue changes etc.). We will give notice of such changes as soon as possible on our websites and inform you by sending emails if we have your CORRECT and UPDATED email address.

 

We are not responsible for any other loss incurred by a participant as the result of the cancellation or amendment of any courses organized / arranged / offered by us.

 

No refunds for missed classes, not attending the course, not showing up.

 

To cancel your registration or notification of cancellation must be made in writing (by email). Send your email to info@vocalprogress.com.

 

Cancellation fees are dependent on the notice given:

  1. If cancellation occurs less than 14 days prior to the start of the course, the cancellation fee is 100% of the course fee.

  2. If cancellation occurs between 14 days and 1 month prior to the start of the course, the cancellation fee is 75% of the course fee.

  3. If cancellation occurs earlier than 1 month prior to the start of the course, the cancellation fee is of 50% of the course fee.

LANGUAGE

 

The English text of these Terms constitutes the sole authentic text. In the event of any discrepancy between the English text and a translation into another language, the English text shall prevail.
